 MANUSIA PALING  BAIK ADALAH YANG BAIK  AKHLAKNYA

ALKISAH.  Seseorang datang menemui Nabi Muhammad (Rasulullah) SAW, lalu bertanya, “Wahai Rasulullah!  Manusia seperti apakah yang paling baik?”  Rasulullah SAW  pun menjawab, “Manusia yang paling baik akhlaknya.” (H.R. Ahmad).

🌺 RASULULLAH SAW sangat menekankan pentingnya  akhlak yang baik.  “Kebajikan itu ialah akhlak yang baik.” (H.R.  Muslim).

🌺 DI akhirat, akhlak baik seseorang dapat memperberat timbangan amalnya, sebagaimana dijelaskan oleh Rasulullah SAW ini, “Tidak ada yang lebih berat dalam mizan (timbangan amal di akhirat) kecuali akhlak yang baik.” (H.R. Abu Dawud).

🌺 ORANG yang berakhlak baik,  pahalanya setaraf dengan orang yang selalu berpuasa sunah dan salat sunah setiap hari, "Sesungguhnya orang yang berakhlak baik akan mencapai derajat orang yang gemar berpuasa (sunah) dan salat (sunah).”  (H.R. Abu Dawud dari Abu Darda).

🌺 PUN pula,  orang berakhlak baik juga akan dicintai oleh  Rasulullah SAW dan di akhirat kelak ia berada dekat dengan beliau, “Orang yang paling aku cintai di antara kalian dan yang paling dekat tempatnya denganku pada hari kiamat adalah yang paling bagus akhlaknya.” (HR at-Tirmidzi).

🌺 ORANG  berakhlak baik,  pahalanya juga akan terus meningkat, sedangkan akhlak yang buruk akan makin membuat seseorang tercela. “Akhlak yang baik akan mengembangkan pahala pelakunya, sedangkan akhlak yang buruk akan membuat pelakunya tercela.” (H.R. Ahmad). 

🌺 AKHLAK yang baik  mengandung faedah, di  antaranya:

✅ Dapat  menarik simpati orang lain, “Sesungguhnya kalian tidak bisa menarik hati manusia dengan harta kalian. Akan tetapi, kalian bisa menarik hati mereka dengan wajah berseri dan akhlak yang mulia.”  (H.R. al-Hakim).

✅ Termasuk bagian dari kesempurnaan iman, “Manusia yang paling sempurna imannya adalah yang paling baik akhlaknya.”  (H.R. Abu Ya’la).

✅ Dapat menyelamatkan manusia dari kesengsaraan di dunia. “Empat hal yang jika semuanya ada padamu maka hal-hal duniawi yang hilang dari dirimu tidak akan pernah menyengsarakanmu: menjaga amanah, bicara jujur, akhlak yang baik, dan makanan yang halal.” (H.R. al-Hakim).
